President Woodrow Wilson said, “Friendship is the only cement that will ever hold the world together.” Of late, that "cement" feels more essential and inspires even deeper appreciation.

The beauty of today's #351GratitudeMoment by Lucas Lee, Regional Service Team, Carlisle, fills our hearts and reminds us of the treasures in our life.

Thank you, Lucas, for all the ways you serve and lead with courage and compassion. And, for today's #351GratitudeMoment: "It is often said that in times of crisis, you will find out who your friends really are. That saying is undeniably true for me, and in these times I’ve witnessed people drawn closer together, not torn apart. I am grateful to my friends and family, as I'm truly lucky to be surrounded by such a great group of people who help keep me entertained and smiling no matter what’s going on. I know they would have my back if I ever needed them. I want hem to know -- I appreciate all of you, and I have your backs, too!

I would like to give special appreciation to my mom, whose own mother is a current cancer patient just outside of New York City. Every day, both of them show true strength and courage, a resolve that I hope I can have when I am older. Stay strong." #351GratitudeMoment
