My six-word memoir:
With compassion, we are all human.
Project 351 is:
Change. Project 351 challenges society’s norm of a “leader” and recognizes that intersectional aspects of identity like race, gender identity, citizenship status, socioeconomics, and age are not limitations. Rather, they’re sources of empowerment. Project 351 amplifies young people’s voices for perspective and inspiration. And, shifts thinking, inspires action, and promotes positive change.
Project 351 leadership lessons that guide me:
There is more power in unity and compassion than in any individual with an official title or certification. I have learned that this generation has the passion, commitment, perseverance, and willingness to build bridges, even with those who may not see eye-to-eye with us.
How has Project 351 inspired your aspirations?
Project 351 has shaped me into an individual who prioritizes unity and justice over polarization and wealth, and has proven that no paycheck is as impactful as service. I envision a career steadying the step stool and holding the megaphone for young people creating change, demanding justice, and restoring unity. I will be an amplifier of young change agents’ voices and visions to create a more compassionate and just world.
“I envision a world where all people stand up in the face of injustice.”
