Quincy, class of 2013
Board Member, Project 351; Press officer, Who is Hussain; University of New Hampshire

My six-word memoir:

Loving others is half of wisdom.

How has Project 351 inspired your aspirations?

My journey at Project 351 has affirmed my desire to be an advocate for social justice in whatever field I may pursue. In the face of injustice and hardship, I see an opportunity to practice what Project 351 has been teaching for years: local community organizing and sustained acts of radical kindness.

A leadership lesson I’ve learned:

Leaders come in different volumes. You do not have to be the loudest person in the room to make the most impact. You just have to be able to unite people in common purpose and harness their conviction in your shared vision to bring it to life.

A Movement Maker that inspires me:

Noura Ekarat is a human rights advocate and scholar who continuously inspires and teaches me. Even when challenged by ignorance and tragedy, she remains firm in her beliefs and speaks truth to power.

Investing in young people’s potential has a profound impact on the future.
