Just three more days until Reunion! And, the perfect time to celebrate the Class of 2018 with today's #351GratitudeMoment.
Our year started in celebration of Coretta Scott King and her steadfast belief that the vision of the Beloved Community she shared with her husband...remained possible:
“I can see a great nation being reborn in justice and in sister and in brotherhood.
I see a nation which nurtures its children and protects their precious innocence with compassion and caring.
I see a nation where young people can get as much education as their minds can absorb and a full range of cultural opportunities to enrich their spirits.
I see a beloved community...
Let us build a society based on hope, and let us not only dream, but create a new national unity...”
Her call-to-action echoed throughout the year and still...energizing this Class of movement makers, community builders, and architects of change.
The Class of 2018's legacy is one of fortitude and faith, resiliency and resolve, and progress and possibility. We are ever-grateful to them for embracing the words of Mrs. King and marching toward the horizon with hope.
